Interim City Manager named

By Carolyn Marnon – Lisa Nocerini was approved in a 5-2 vote by the City Council on June 2 to take on the role of Interim City Manager immediately at no extra cost.  Lisa has been doing grant work, staffing augmentation, communications and economic development for the City of Wayne and will now add the duties of the city manager until a new one can be hired.  She addressed the council, “I just want to step in where I can to help.  I’m very honored and proud to be asked. I don’t want more money in my contract. I think I am getting paid more than fair. I want to help get you where you need to be to hire the best city manager you can.”
