Crime prevention tips
Wayne Police Chief Ryan Strong reminded citizens during a recent police community meeting that locking the doors to your home and to your cars can reduce the amount of crime in Wayne. He also advised not leaving anything valuable in your car.
Citizens should do all they can to prevent thieves from gaining easy access to their possessions. Taking the time to lock your doors makes it that much harder for a thief to gain entry.
