7 wanted to make sure there wasn't a mistake here and that
8 everybody is still on the same page.
9 Do you understand that this plea faces a
10 statutory maximum penalty of two years in prison and/or
11 fine of $2000?
12 DEFENDANT SANDERS: Yes, sir.
13 THE COURT: And do you understand if you
14 proceeded to trial and you are found guilty as charged it
15 would be a statutory maximum penalty of four years; is
16 that right?
17 DEFENDANT SANDERS: I think five years for the
18 obstruction, correct?
19 MR. MCCARTY: Four years.
20 MR. PENNEY: For false report of a felony, it's
21 four years. For obstruction of justice, a different
22 count, that is correct.
23 DEFENDANT SANDERS: I'm sorry.
24 THE COURT: Do you understand all that?
25 DEFENDANT SANDERS: Yes.
